5 - Weston , Florida -- You are cordially invited to a first
of its kind art show! The work of Daniela Jahn Cano, a 24-year
old artist with Down Syndrome, will be unveiled during a reception
December 5 at the Art Institute of Weston. The exhibit,
which will highlight more than 80 of her works, will be held at
2900 Glades Circle, Suite 1600 in Weston. It will begin at 6:00
p.m. Makes plans to stop by December 5 to say hello to this remarkable
young artist. The exhibit is free. For more information on the

Mary
likes to draw all the time. On her own, usually at her desk
in her room. With no prompting. Typically she draws the people
in her life, and loves to tell you about her art and all the
people she cares about.
This
particular art (we added the text) is
available for others to enjoy, and gives us a glimpse
into a world we all wish we lived in.

Bruce
knows a couple of the people who produce these model kits
and artwork, so, they needed some pictures.
We
sent them a few of Mary, and they ended up using one of them
!
So
Mary is on the box! These are shipped to hobby
stores all over the world. Pretty Cool !

of children with Special Needs, she will be a "friend
and advocate". I don't think we can get a better
advocate than Vice President. Though she did not win,
in the future, we are sure she will be an advocate. |

Ron Saint
John invited Bruce to do a 30 min. show talking about DS for Majic 102,
which he did. We aren't allowed to put it on the site, but it was a lot
of fun, and Ron is a great guy!
